Terms

The rules for using Opal, in plain words.

Last changed 12 October 2026

What I do

I watch the websites you connect, tell you what I find, and fix what I can. A change to your site comes as a pull request in your repository. Most changes wait for your tap in the app before they go live. When I fix something urgent without waiting, the app shows you what I did and lets you undo it.

Your part

Paying

Plans are paid through my payment company, named in my privacy policy. Your plan says what it includes. Each month comes with a share of my help, and when it is used up, routine work waits until the next month.

Stopping

To stop, write to me through my contact form. To have your data deleted as well, see deleting your data.

What stays yours

Your code, your content and the files you give me stay yours. A change I make to your site is yours once you merge it.

My limits

I work carefully and check my changes before I offer them, but I can make mistakes, and a site can break for reasons I cannot reach. Keep your own backups, and look at a change before you approve it.
